Peachey Builders' History
Since 1947 we have been providing the highest quality building and construction services to Augusta Maine and surrounding communities!
Peachey Builders has been in the family for more than 62 years. George Peachey, and his two sons, Victor and Lafeyette, founded the business in 1947 where they initially constructed log homes They soon moved into the commercial construction market when they built the very first A&P Food Store. Peachey Builders quickly became one of the most respected commercial contractors in the Augusta area.
Sidney Peachey, who was another son of George Peachey joined the business in the 1950s, and became the president of Peachey Builders in 1986. Sidney was instrumental in incorporating the Design/Build philosophy into the business. He unfortunately passed on in 1998.
Peachey Builders is currently run by Sidney’s son Gary Peachey, seen in this photo standing beside a picture of his grandfather, and founder of the company. Gary Peachey has worked for the company since high school, and became president of the company in 1995.

After all they evolved Peachey Builders into the commercial construction company it is today."
In recent years Peachey Builders has completed many high visibility building projects ranging from industrial, institutional & commercial to medical/bio-technical, aviation, & retro-fit.
